  • Complete the roll-out of Hot School Meals to all primary schools in 2025 and begin extending the programme to secondary schools over the lifetime of the next government.  
  • Ensure suppliers follow strict guidelines on nutrition and dietary requirements, reduce food waste, and use recyclable packaging.
  • Pilot a Summer 2025 Holiday Meals programme to address nutritional gaps during school closures and evaluate its impact.
  • Advocate internationally for the inclusion of school meals in global agendas and actively promote the goals of the School Meals Coalition.
  • Engage in peer-to-peer learning and research, sharing best practices with Coalition members and contributing to the Research Consortium for School Health and Nutrition.
